Improving Livelihood and Providing Food Security for Poor Families in Baalbeck

Today marked the first meeting held for the people benefiting from LOST’s most recent food Security project sponsored by the Mennonite Central Committee (MCC). The meeting that took place at LOST headquarters in Baalbeck was the introduction step to the aspects and benefits of the project, which includes goat distribution to families with small kids, thus providing them access to fresh milk. A local vet, Dr. Moussa Solh, explained how to raise goats and the impact this project can have on the beneficiaries and their kid’s growth. At the end of the meeting, some beneficiaries delivered some words of sincere thanks to the sponsors in an attempt to highlight their gratitude.
