LOST organized a seminar entitled: “The Participation of Women in Political Issues” delivered by Dr. Ramy Lakkis the president of LOST- Baalbeck center from 21st February till 28 February /2013, as part of the Academy of Women’s rights funded by the Embassy of the Kingdom of Netherlands in Lebanon, the workshop was based on activating the role of women to overcome difficulties, obstacles, and over the deep-rooted social and cultural barriers, highlighting the importance of the need for women’s role that is based in challenge.
LOST starts this effective workshop by Dr. Ramy Lakkis who insisted on the rights of women worldwide to participate in the decision- making process of their communities at all levels which will activate and develop the performance of the role of women in politics through this workshop which will be headed at the Four Branches.
LOST sheds the light through its regular workshops on its basic targets that support, and stimulate teamwork and activate the role of women in politics and community issues. LOST also aims to extend women’s role in the dialogue as well as in debate.
