The Lebanese Organization of Studies and Training represented by her director and founder Dr Ramy Lakkis signed with the Embassy of the Netherlands in Lebanon represented by the Ambassador HE Mr Hero De Boer a Contribution Agreement to establish the Academy Women’s Rights in Baalbeck-Hermel. The Academy aims at promoting women’s rights and women political participation in the region. It starts in June 2012 and extends over a year period. It will engage more than 150 women in a series of workshops and activities related to empower them with the knowledge and skills needed to reshape and activate their political role in their local communities.
