The Academy of Youth at LOST-Baalbeck in collaboration with OTI-Lebanon and the syndicate of fine artists chose to visualize their national principles and visions by drawing murals on the wall of the Modern high school in Baalbeck.
The youth of the academy expressed their rejection to the civil war and the internal division among the Lebanese people through drawing murals with directly related messages tackling issues relevant in their communities.
“No for sectarianism and civil war”, “Yes for national unity and peaceful coexistence” were the slogans raised by the youth.
This activity by itself was a practical call to Lebanese citizens that we want to live together and we don’t want to go back to the civil war.
