Baalbeck Memories for a Better Image

In addition to the tens of activities organized by LOST since 2005, a new activity is added to the list of success. LOST built on its belief on Baalbeck, “the city of Sun” to launch an exhibition of Baalbeck photos and paintings in Baytna Restaurant on the first of July 2013. The exhibition, covered by all national media, brought together key public figures from Baalbeck-Hermel region to launch it. Mr. Omar Solh, the vice-president of Baalbeck Municipality, mucktars, NGOs representatives, local and national media attended the inauguration.

After the Lebanese National Anthem, Dr. Ramy Lakkis, LOST President delivered a speech in which he affirmed that the exhibition is a message to all Baalbeck figures and citizens to protect our culture and the civil peace in our region. Dr. Lakkis said that the exhibition lasts for one week and calls all Baalbeck citizens to visit it.

In his turn, Mr. Solh considered that we are all responsible to protect Baalbeck heritage and history adding that the wealth of Baalbeck is embodied by its heritage and people.

All the attendees were impressed by the photos of several Baalbeck places.

LOST sheds the light through this activity on its basic objective represented by supporting and refreshing Baalbeck- Hermel region at all levels.
